Caribou aircraft A4-236 has flown many emergency support relief missions in Australia and the wider South Pacific region.

This particular aircraft was the last to land at RAAF Amberley as part of the relocation of No.38 Squadron from RAAF Richmond to RAAF Amberley.

At the time the squadron was commanded by Wing Commander (now Group Captain) John “Benji” Benjamin, who is also a past Director of the RAAF Amberley Aviation Heritage Centre.

Group Captain Benjamin flew A4-159 which was the lead aircraft and the first to land at RAAF Amberley.
