As you would be aware the Australian government, like other governments around the world, is having to adjust a range of plans and commitments as we work to contribute to the whole of government response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). To that end, Defence has taken the decision to temporarily close our Air Force Heritage Centres, which includes RAAF AAHC, as of 15 Mar 2020. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Aircraft Displays - Fighter Aircraft Hangar

Aircraft

The RAAF Amberley Aviation Heritage Centre attracts up to 1000 visitors on open days and the displays change from time to time.

A feature of our displays is that you can get up close and personal with our aircraft and other exhibits.

We have big plans to expand our range of displays as more aircraft are painstakingly restored and other aircraft in time retire from their operational tasks.

This will include showing actual restoration work in progress so that you will appreciate the skill and professionalism of our team.

The displays will delight everyone from young to old — ex-servicemen and women who just want to reminisce, and those who are interested in becoming involved in military aviation and have the skills required to support our restoration work.
